We invite you to become truly part of history here on Long Island’s North Fork at the Jamesport Meeting House.
Built in 1731, the Jamesport Meeting House is the centerpiece of the Jamesport Historic District. It is the most significant historic structure in the Town of Riverhead. For the past 276 years, this outstanding building has embraced couples surrounded by their families and friends, as they exchange wedding vows. Following in this tradition, we invite you to become one in marriage here.
Always a welcoming gathering place, this landmark building offers an ideal venue for weddings of every denomination. The simple elegance of the light filled sanctuary reflects its Puritan heritage. Small intimate ceremonies will not feel lost in this quiet space. Larger weddings of up to 120 will feel the love passed down from one generation to another.
The Jamesport Meeting House is an ideal location for the bride and groom who are having a reception at one of the many nearby delightful North Fork historic inns or vineyards. It is easy to find on Rt. 25, in the center of the historic hamlet of Jamesport.
Contact the Jamesport Meeting House for more information about holding your wedding or event in this historic venue.
